LAHARE SHREE R
I am a dedicated final-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science at Jain University. Currently, I am interning under the guidance of Dr. Chetan Nag at Jain University in Bengaluru, focusing on the impact of Artificial Light at Night (ALAN) on wildlife forensic evidence. This emerging area of study explores how artificial lighting affects ectoparasites at various light intensities and, consequently, the integrity of forensic evidence collected from wildlife crime scenes.
Research Interests: Forensic Science, Crime Scene Investigation
Education:
Bsc Forensic Science (2023 Batch) - Jain (Deemed-to-be-University) Bengaluru.
Period of internship: September 18- October 18, 2024

SALONI PRASHANT MORBALE

I am currently a B.Sc. student in Forensic Science at Jain (Deemed-to-be) University in Bangalore. Under the guidance of Rao Sir, I am interning at CUBEC, where I am exploring morphological changes in botanical materials—specifically leaves, flowers, and stems—following detachment. My research aims to assess how these changes can provide critical insights into forensic investigations, particularly in estimating the time of death and understanding the circumstances surrounding a crime scene.
Research Interests: Forensic Sciences, Plant Toxicology and Botanical Evidence in Forensics
Education:
Bsc Forensic Science (2023 Batch) - Jain (Deemed-to-be-University) Bengaluru.
Period of internship: September 18- October 18, 2024
