Established in the year 2011, the Department of Forensic Science plays a pivotal role in the field of criminal investigation and justice. The department’s continuous efforts focus on delivering comprehensive education, producing well-prepared professionals in Forensic Science, who serve in various capacities both nationally and internationally. Its multifaceted scope encompasses various branches of forensic science, including forensic psychology, ballistics, DNA profiling, crime scene investigation, digital forensic, information security, to name a few. The department's comprehensive approach caters to diverse aspects of forensic science, facilitating the pursuit of truth and justice in legal proceedings to under-graduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs. 

 

CUBEC (Center for Urban Ecology, Biodiversity,  Evolution and Climate Change) is an evolving research centre under the JAIN (Deemed-to-be) University aspiring to bring together collaborators, scientists, postdoctoral scientists, PhD-students as well as technical and administrative staff to work on fields like macroecology, biogeography, evolutionary biology, ecology, population biology, climate change research, conservation biology.
